Adera employees exhibit the following qualities; a positive attitude, a sense of fun, hard work, ownership of their role in the company, and the consistent commitment and ability to meet our promise of delivering friendly, reliable, confidential service to our customers.
We only hire people who demonstrate those qualities, and often make exceptions in term’s of their lack of “paper qualifications” if we feel that they demonstrate the right attitude and qualities to make them valued members of our team.
For example, all Adera drivers are required to hold a minimum of a “Class B” commercial driver’s license, but we would rather hire team members with the right people skills and attitude, and invest the time and money in training the right person to become an accomplished commercial driver, than hire a qualified driver with a poor attitude.
You will see more of our drivers than any other Adera team member, and we understand that our drivers are Adera’s primary customer representatives. That is why they are told from the onset of employment with our company that their job has four primary components,
30% windshield time, and that means driving and maintaining an immaculate truck, and driving with the highest respect for other road users,
30% physical effort, which requires being physically fit, and working”smart.” When you hire Adera to do your shredding, you can put your feet up. We will do all the heavy work,
30% customer relations, and the realization that as drivers, they are Adera’s most visible evidence of “doing it the right way,” and the biggest factor in generating customer loyalty, and referrals.
10% maintenance time spent on our high operational standards, such as constantly monitoring and checking shred size, cleanliness of truck and self, and reporting back to customers, anything that might avoid a security breach, or improve operational costs and effectiveness.
Every Adera employee is an ACCESS INDIVIDUAL, someone who may have contact with, or carry out, the process of destroying your information, or have access to sensitive areas of your facility, and as a consequence is considered part of the process of destroying your confidential material,
No matter how tangential or small their involvement in the actual destruction of your data, every Adera direct, or indirect employee, including drivers, accounting staff, secretarial staff, officers, directors, owners, or other companies or individuals, is vetted to the same high standards, and subject to the same company confidentiality agreements, extensive background checks, drug
testing and employment verification.
We promote from within, and when you call to set a shredding appointment with Adera, you call will be answered by a person who can not only answer your questions, but has direct field experience, access to our “routing and accounting” computer systems and will only make commitments to you that our operational staff can comfortably meet.
